Stayed here for one night while cycling along the Moselle. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed; the food was excellent - the dining-room, with its family portraits, gave a sense of a family-run hotel. The staff were always friendly and efficient. The outside dining terrace offers lovely views of the river. Highly recommended!

On the 16th October I received confirmation of my reservation - which was referred to as a 'binding booking' - on the 14th December, the day before I was due to arrive, I received a call saying the hotel was closed and the person speaking (he did not introduce himself so I have no idea of his name or position)...
