We stayed at this gasthof with the intention of relaxing for five nights after a weekend of celebrations at friends` wedding.
The gasthof is conveniently situated in a quiet cul-de- sac off the main village street of Inzell. 100 meters to the right takes you to the village center. 100 meters to the left sees you embarking on one of the delightful walks around the immediate countryside.
The inn is small and intimate and your hosts, the Maier family, are hospitable and welcoming
The decor throughout the inn is traditional Bavarian. The bedroom and bathroom [shower only, but good] were a little on the smallish side, but perfectly adequate. Both private and public places in the Izellerhof are spotlessly clean. We loved sitting on the balcony from where lovely views of the mountains can be enjoyed.
