Hotel is located in old town Friedrichshafen with very nice quiet pededristian streets verty close to the harbour and public transport. Only downside is a church close by chiming form 7 AM but sound insulation is sufficient. Very nice, helpfull and friendly staff. They even guided the party to the rooms. Minor technical malfunctions in the room, but nothing significant.... More

This hotel is in a great location, one block from the lake and in the beautiful city center. We were pleased to be given two connecting rooms at this hotel for our family of 2 adults and 4 children. The two rooms were big, one had a small living area in addition to the three beds. The hotel staff were... More

The management actually runs two hotels: one closer to the lake and another one a little to the back. The checkin is at the nicer hotel (and thats where I saw the pictures from). However, they brought us to the other one, which doesn't even have a front desk. It was a terrible experience -but I will not expand on... More

A family owned and slightly old fashioned hotel which might enjoy some refurbishment. The rooms are very spacious and ours had even a separate sitting room with kitchenette. Apparently the hotel has a few very luxurious appartments in a neighbouring building. The location neat the Bodensee (aka Lake of Constance) and the Zeppelin museum is comfortably in the center of... Great location for the OUTDOOR fair with a free shuttle to the event 2 min walk away. Right by the lake with a nice view when you eat the complimentary breakfast on the terrace. Would stay here again! More

Not the easiest to find by motorised transport as it is in a pedestrianised area but we just carried on regardless. Friendly staff. The hotel is spilt over one or two buildings and therefore it is quite difficult to ascertain the standard of rooms. Had a room in main building, generous size with good bathroom. The restaurant is actually featured... More

Stayed at the Best Western hotel for one night and managed to get a nice upgrade for one of their newly built studio rooms. These are not situated in the same building but across the street. Nevertheless, definitely worth it because the rooms are spacy and very nice. I arrived late but were nice welcomed and the man in the... More

My friend and I booked two rooms using the Best Western internet site. We came here to go to the Hamfest on the last weekend of June 2009 and then stay three extra nights to look around the area. Due to Ryan Air changing and then cancelling flights we had to go and return by alternate means which meant booking... More

We picked the hotel because of its location, and it was a good location, in some ways. Getting there was a nightmare, it is located in a pedestrian-only area. However, once you stop circling, stop believing your GPS and maps, and ask people, you will find you can drive a car to the hotel and unload. Then you park your... More
