This resort was difficult to find in Oberstaufen; the Google map does not convey the complexity (underpass) of the final turning from the main road; we overshot and it was another 2 miles to find a turnround space on the narrow hillside road. Our unit at Oberstaufen provided very satisfactory accommodation by European standards. We had a pleasantly cool unit at the back of the building reserved for those allergic to cigarettes and pets. Restaurant Gemse was the nicest restaurant in Oberstaufen we tried, main menu between 10-18 Euro, Aquaria swim pool in town (wonderful pools and family sauna), hiking on the many walking routes on the top of the Imberg ski lift. My family and I really loved our stay at Mondi. The staff were great (always friendly and willing to help - we had a great welcome) and the rooms were clean and a good size. The Town is close (a bus trip away).We would definately go back there!!! More
