We stayed at this hotel last weekend (3/02/12) and was very pleasantly suprised, the Hotel Staff were great, the room was lovely (although I know I am nit picking but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable). Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices i.e kippers, smoked salmon, eggs benedict, full Northumberland, and plenty of it. We had evening dinner... More

We got married here last year. Weve wanted to go back since and decided to celebrate my wifes 30th b'day at Beamish on the 24 th january. When I rang to book I requested room 102 as this was our honeymoon suite last year. We arrived mid-afternoon after a quick drink in the stables bar to a brilliant welcome from... More

Absolute crap, a beer festival that runs out of beer after 2 hours, staff that could'nt care less and in my opinion an event that was too crowded (too many tickets sold), no sign of our entrance money back, greedy people. We'll not be back!!!. More

Stayed for 1 night for the Winter Beer & Live Music Festival. What a great idea the festival is! It encouraged us and many others to make the effort to do something special in January. Although most of the music was not to our tastes (too much 'blues'), the Paul Liddell band were very good. Good choice of beers and... More

The stay didn't start to well, not the hotels fault, but they did make the week better. The staff here are diamonds in the set up. The looked after us above and beyond, better than any other hotel I have stayed in. The hotel yea could do will some touch up's in places, but the setting is amazing. This also... More

We had family over from Australia and were looking for somewhere nice to take them for 'High Tea' before they returned to Australia. We went around 3pm, the Hall and gardens were very nice on arrival, we were greated in reception and pointed in the direction of one of the very nice old style ball rooms. Good banter with the... We stayed at Beamish Hall Hotel on 7th January 2012 on a Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal basis which we booked through Secret Escapes. As we arrived early we went into Beamish Wild to see all of the birds of prey and owls and watched a flying display. It was a very reasonable price and right next to the hotel... More

With such a beautiful location and a truly magnificent building, I didn't think there could be anything of worth that would make this hotel a poor experience, and yet amazingly after our weekend visit, there were just too many things which did just that, we opted for a premium room in order to experience the grandeur of the building and...
