We recently took a campervan holiday from Brisbane to Cairns. One of our first stops was the Australiana Top Tourist Park. It was a wonderful introduction to this style of holidaying. “Best camping we had in Australia!”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there one night and went on a 2 days trip to Fraser Island and then stayed in the site for a 2nd night. They let us leave our car on site for free and helped us with all our enquiries.

“Very clean, nice facilities, easy walk to beach, pub, eateries!”

We booked a cabin for one night which was neat and clean, staff were accommodating, only hiccup was that the website indicated the park was pet friendly, in fact it is not. So we had our dog with us. Luckily they did make an exception for us, which we appreciated. Check out Enzo's on the beach for breakfast!! Outstanding!!!!

Thanks so much for the review. I don't really understand why our park comes up on the google 'wotif' pet friendly park', as we do not mention that fact that we are pet friendly on wotif at all due to the fact that we are pet friendly for site accommodation only and we only advertise cabin accommodation on wotif. Organisation, customer service, kindness, price and cleaness. All of these conditions make Caravan a nice place to stay....ask for free ice cream for kids!

We have stayed at the Australiana Top Tourist Park several times over the last 4 or 5 years. There is alot of accommodation in Hervey Bay but we don't even bother to look at any others we just book a cabin with Sharon and Mark, the owners of the park. We like the park because it is not too big.... More
