I did not sleep here, but visited the hotel. The front desk lady was very friendly and showed me the hotel. I saw a standard room and a duplex suite. Both rooms were very comfortable and were roomy. I stayed in this hotel twice - this April and last December when it was just opened. Before I stayed in the same class Fitz Roy hotel there. It was a big difference. Lives up to expectations. Ski in and out. Only niggles drinks very expensive and ski room a bit small. One of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in.

We stayed in the Altapura hotel for a week ski holliday, It was our first time in Val Thores and we could not have asked for a better place. Everything was perfect the location, staff, food and room. The hotel spa is excelent and the swimming pool wonderful after a day's skiing. We are definitely comming back next year.
