Spent a week here at the end of April and we were very well looked after. Food was amazing and the hosts were excellent, especially the fresh cakes every day. Would definitely stay there again.

Hats off to our Chalet hosts for making our late-spring week so good. Great food, warm service and useful local knowledge. It's a real shame that the Chalet won't be running next year.

I stayed at Ushuaia in March 2011 and had a great time. The property is in a great location, takes about 5 mins to walk to the main Lac lifts, but what made it for me were the staff who were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Planning to go back again for another two nights this March.

I kicked off the 2010 winter season with a 2 week course of alpine ski training and I stayed at the Hundred hills chalet in Tignes.
