We have just spent a fantastic week with Caroline at her lovely chalet. Really welcoming and comfortable base to explore Grand Massif ski area. Very convenient 2 min drive to lift and ski lockers at top of lift to stash your boots/skis in. Food was totally fabulous and Caroline seemed almost able to read our minds and provide tea/cake/drinks and... More

11 of us had a great 4 days staying here. We were made to feel so welcome and were so well fed and looked after. The chalet is so well located just a couple of minutes drive from the lift and you can leave your skis and boots up at the top in a locker by the slopes which is... More

A long weekend isn't enough - but at least I was there for 4 days, in a well run ski chalet hosted by the lovely Caroline. The food was absolutely fantastic and plentiful. The rooms were clean, pleasant and well cared for, like the guests! Can't wait to go back with the family.

What a great week we had with Caroline and Jessie! The food was amazing , each day there was cakes and hot chocolate when we got back from our skiing, then the kids were fed with all their favourite food and then we got canapes and drinks followed by a lovely 4 course meal. I did not want to come home... More

Stayed at Chalet Marie Stuart with my son a few weeks ago for a long weekend's skiing. Great accommodation, brilliant lounge to relax in, and the food was absolutely superb, be it breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes or the wonderful evening meals. Good, interesting and individual wines, too! Can't recommend the place highly enough. I quite fancy trying it in... More

Only 4 days in Feb, not enough. This was our 3rd stay at Chalet Marie Stuart (Carolines Gaff). The chalet is warm and comfortable, and the food 5star. As with other reviews we are not keen on any one else finding this gem in the alps, in case we can't get booked again. However here goes, brilliant, fantastic, the best,... More

Set just out of town but with access to a quiet, alternative bubble up the mountain (with no queues when we were there end of January), Chalet Marie Stuart was a great place to stay in Samoens. Warm and cosy sitting room, with VERY comfortable sofa, good size bedroom with VERY comfortable bed (both of which make all the difference... More

We were a group of 12 men searching for ski and snowboard fun during the day and a relaxed homely environment to recover in, we all found more than this at Chalet Marie Stuart. Caroline and her team are fantastic hosts, we never had to, ask for anything because it was already done for us. The Chalet itself is only... More
