Nice place. 2nd year staying there as part of a group. We arrived a few days earlier than the rest of our group. Hotel had not changed, decor and furnishings the same, tired but characteristic of this kind of place. Yeah you can get much nicer in Alp d'Huez, but then you can pay 100's Euros a night as well....

We just returned form a week in Val staying at this Chalet. Having read some reviews (and the travel company site) about the accommodation I must say I was expecting a kip when they said the place was "tired". I was pleasantly surprised, despite the tired appearance the place was pretty good. Yes the decor is a bit dated, and...

What a great little hotel, the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. I sprained my ankle and the town car service came in very handy... also loved the fact that the owner drove us around on a few occassions.... Nice touch!
I just wish that we could have booked into the hotel from...

We loved the hotel and the staff was great. The views from our suite were spectacular. The dinner was very elegant and great quality. The location at the very top of the town is great for hikes up the hillside. It was pretty quiet in town, though as the summer season had not yet started.

We stayed here as a part of a cycling trip to alp du huez . It is a real little gem , service was fantastic and the food in the restaurants was exceptional. Would definitely go back .

If like me your partner is keener on a ski holiday than you are and you need some luxury to get over the day's activity then this is the hotel for you.
This is the most expensive hotel in L'Alpe-d'Huez and in my view the best. This is my third stay in the resort and the position of this hotel...

This is a hotel definitely at the luxury end of the spectrum, but you definitely get your money's worth here. Situated literally on the piste by the foot of the main ski lifts it is an ideal base for skiiing. They have a basement changing room which has your own closet for your ski gear, including heated boot racks! When...
