Room is large enough and bathroom is nice with a full size tub/shower. I have found European budget hotels to often be short on space in the room and having extremely small showers, not the case here. Staff was not as friendly as my last visit but was OK. In April 2009 this hotel dropped its affiliation with Mercure. It is now called Motel de Rhone (?). The room was clean and pleasant., everything worked including the air conditioner. Breakfast very nice, staff pleasant. Located right along the Rhone River and there is a nice walking path along the river. Dinner at the hotel was excellent.

We stayed on a Saturday night for a stop-over in June. There were few people staying. Usual two star Mercure in appearance, room size and comfort. Minimal staff who were pleasant and ran both the reception and the small restaurant. The hotel is well off the main road. It does offer a small pool and sun terrace, and it’s also...
