We needed a break and frankly were just looking for a bit of sun a beach and a change of scene and weather. Some friends had recommended La Fossette so we gave it a whirl. Brilliant. Very relaxed in a truly special little corner of France. What was most impressive was that the village still runs as a real place...

Stayed for a couple of weeks through business. Ended up moving rooms twice as it was a last minute booking, but that was fine and the staff moved my stuff whilst I was at work so no effort on my behalf. Best rooms were those with sea view balcony on the first floor, although the garden rooms are also fine,...

Very charming and warmly hotel. Quite small and close to the beach of la fossette, literally a 2 minute walk away. We were in a sea-view room where the balcony gave us a nice view of the la fossette beach. The room was clean with standard services (French Satellite TV, Bathroom + shower, closet). What was missing was a bathtub...

We had a suite with our own terrace and looked onto a small sunken terrace beneath a towering palm tree. The hotel is well located near the main road and cycleway. It has limited parking but has reserved spaces in a municipal car park only one minute's walk away.
The attention to detail is impressive - this hotel is spotless...

La Fossette is hotel that is close by le Lavandou, but not too close (very long walk or taxi)
The rooms are average, nothing stands out but they charge a high preimum for the close proximity to the beach. In my opinon, this hotel is nothing special and we have stayd in much better place in similar price bracket.

A small, clean and nicely decorated hotel. We had a room with a small balcony and seaview which I would recommend - even if the bathroom was a bit on the tight side. The welcome was warm and the staff accommodated our desire to speak broken french instead of immediately resorting to English. There is no food after breakfast (which...

This hotel had the tiniest rooms, overpriced minibar (5 euro for a 33cl bottle of water), and overpriced breakfast (16 euro a person). The only thing that saves this hotel is the location near the beach which is great. It is 40 minute walk from le lavandou, so not near at all, and I can't actually understand how this hotel...

Dear Rebecca,
thank you for your review. You payed 120€ your room.Did you expected a large suite for this price ? As far as we are informed prices are free in france even for mini bars (special scottisch natural water). You have perhaps to complete your understanding of prices during the high season on the côte d'azur. If you can not understand why...

I spent a week in Hotel de la Fossette together with my wife. We had a beautiful, very well equipped room with a big balcony and the sea view (room No 2). The owners are very courteous and can always recommend a good restaurant. The breakfast was superb, with very good quality regional products. And there is a free parking...

The hotel is small but nice, just 3 minutes walk from the wonderful shore of La Fossette: something like 3 Km from Le Lavandou village.
The hotel staff is really nice, always helpful, very kind and ready to go out of their way to help.
There are a few restaurants in the area (withing 5-10 min walk) but no shops,...
