“Great, clean hotel right next to the sea”

I just spent 4 nights at this hotel and loved every minute. The staff was friendly, the hotel clean and comfortable, and private access to the Mediterranean can't be beat! In addition, my small dog was accepted everywhere in the hotel for no extra charge. We will definately be back to La Ciotat and to the Hotel Plage St Jean!... More

Yes the Shower/toilet/basin is very small. Difficult to see how you could stay for more than a day or two. Best Western in Town recommended Hotel Plage St Jean but it is nothing like the Best Western or just borderlines on a 3 star rating. Hotel was OK as such, clean rooms etc. but there isn't really a beach. Yes the hotel borders on the Med (sort of) but the shore is very rocky on this spot. More

This hotel is fine -- modern, clean, nice rooms decorated in a nautical style, pretty lobby and access to the sea. However, the beach is a few large rocks and a metal platform sloping to the sea. it is about a 20 minute walk to the real (and extensive) beach in La Ciotat which is where most of the restaurants...
