I would endorse what others have said. Stayed here for 3 nights, very friendly people, clean and comfortable room/bathroom with snowy towels plus good continental breakfast. Exceptional value in my opinion - i don't see how we could have chosen better.

This house is exceptionally clean. The beds are really firm and comfortable. My corner room opened onto a walking street with a wonderful shuttered window. Lovely antique wardrobe for my clothes. The Hotel Central is above, but not connected to, a bar on the main street of Digne. It's above average for a typical French 2* hotel. Our room was a good size, well-furnished, with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was also spacious, and everything worked efficiently. Despite the central location, the main noise at night was the fountain outside.... More
