We stayed here for 2 nights as a 'breathing space' stopover while travelling between two areas of France. While finding this small hotel can be a little tricky, on entering the foyer we were immediately won over by the chic charm, lovely common areas and general ambience. Our second floor room (no lift) was huge, imaginatively decorated (- in a... More

This hotel is a gorgeous boutique hotel near to the old town in Niort. The owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Due to flight delays we arrived after the reception closed but he arranged to return to check us in. He also provided a map of the local area so we could find nearby restaurants. Our room was on the... More

I stayed on the top floor. Rooms have A/C and you need it as the top floors are under the roof. If you want to open the window you'll have to tolerate the noisy traffic (very busy street with incoming traffic). Hotel has been tastefully restored in grey tones. Rooms are clean. The double comfort rooms on the top floor... More

Reception not the friendliest, no snacks or drinks avaiable. Hotel furnishings and rooms really well done but front rooms suffer badly from traffic noise.

This is a beautifully restored period hotel, which is typified by the grand entrance hall when you enter. The bedroom we stayed in was truly magnificent. It was large, modern and very chic, with the only downside being that the toilet was in a completely separate room from the shower and basin. The whole hotel, including the rooms are wonderfully... This is a really lovely boutique hotel. Doesn't look that remarkable from the outside but inside its elegant, stylish and charming. Our room turned out to be a big room that was a tiny annexe in the pretty courtyard garden away from the main house. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the air-con super powerful. The breakfast is fine... but... More

Great ambiance. Location is perfect for exploring the town. This is a lovely hotel (17 rooms I think) and the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and our bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Everywhere was very clean and comfortable. The garden is enchanting. In a nutshell a very welcoming... More

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The management were so helpful and the hotel was lovely just like the photos. The hotel has a real personal touch and the breakfast was beautifully set out. The only down side was that we arrived late Sunday afternoon and we had to ring a number to be let in. Private parking recommended... More
