Excellent hotel for an overnight stop on the way to more southerly France. Very secure parking. Dinner and breakfast are very good so no need to go looking for a restaurant. Very friendly staff. Would not recommend staying for a period only because Chateauroux is a boring industrial town

Most expensive hotel on our 5 week trip through Europe but also the nicest! We had a duplex (upstairs / downstairs) which slept 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 10) very comfortably. Reception staff were pleasant, but didn't tell me about how the lights worked so had to go back downstairs to find out :/ (I'm not a frequent traveler). Had a junior suite which was reasonably furnished but a sort of unattractive tunnel shape. No non-French TV channels. Bed comfortable; bathroom clean. Restaurant was packed and food good quality but a bit unexciting. Secure parking but no video surveillance.. So a good stop over on the route down South...

We stayed en route to South, hotel is in the old Best Western style, modern with nothing extra. Rooms not over big and bathrooms basic. No lounge area to speak of, good service for food but main course a little odd! You pay for parking, a good thing car was locked behind gates, where hotel is not really a place... More
