Arrived full of expectation for the last night of our holiday, expecting a great experience. The check-in was friendly and courteous. The building itself was impressive - a very old monastery, combined with stylish modern touches (the French do this sort of thing very well). Our room was very modern - however there was no air-conditioning: on a day when the temperature reached 32ºC this was a disappointment. So, probably 8 out of 10 at this stage...
HOWEVER, then we went down for a nice drink before dinner. This seemed to confuse them, as firstly they did not know where to sit us (outside would have been nice) and then it took about 45 minutes to get a couple of glasses of champagne.
After yet another long wait, we ordered our meal, then waited and waited and waited and waited to order our wine... It took over an hour for them to take our wine order, despite asking 5 times. The wine then sat there for another 45 minutes, while we repeatedly asked for it to be opened...
