Stayed for one night whilst visiting the nearby Maconnais wine growing region. This is not a bad hotel; it is adjacent to downtown ("centre-ville") Macon, and across the busy Route Nationale from the river Saone. Stayed here for one night. Had a lovely room at the front overlooking the river and bridge. Its right in the centre too. Some parking outside or in public car park up the road. More

Although this is a 2 star hotel, we found it much better than many 3 or even 4 star hotels we stayed at on our trip through France. The room was very clean and well equiped and the owners very friendly and professional. More
