We used Le Roof as a stop over from South-West France on our way home to the Ferry. It is a lovely hotel in a fab location. The location is beautiful and our room was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small but immaculate.The breakfast buffet was surprisingly well stocked. The staff was courteous and helpful. We needed to cancel one room and were past the 4PM deadline but they cancelled us anyway graciously. Vannes is a quaint and historic village. We loved our stay. The location is beautiful. Hotel staff extremely polite with the exception of the director/manager who we saw twice at reception and never said bonjour/soir! Rooms fairly small. Hotel was in a great location with views of the sea and marina-provided you had booked a room with a sea view.
