Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and spoke good English, the rooms were on the smaller side, which was fine, however they were clean and quiet for a good night's sleep. Good standard hotel with typical French 3* facilities. Positives Attitudes of staff - all excellent and all speak very good English. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Negatives No dedicated car parking - had to search for somewhere to park nearby Lorient itself is not particularly interesting - but surrounding South Breton is excellent

I think this is a good hotel for business meetings and for a cocktail drink. Other than that its average.

The Mercure hotel is very clean and a great value for the cost - 88Euros a night for single occupancy. The breakfast buffet in the mornings is Excellent.
