We stayed two nights at the Hotel La Locanda. It is on one of the main streets of Volterra, just inside the city gates, near two parking lots. It was a very comfortable and pretty room with a patio outside of our back door. It was very clean and the staff were helpful. I would stay there again. More

The hotel is an easy walk from the bus stop and rooms have free wifi, fridges, aircon and kingsized beds. Lovely carpets and recently renovated rooms with good bathrooms to a high standard, but try to avoid 107, which is darkened by the fire escape blocking the window, and the bathroom is falling apart.
