We arrived late into Cagliari and drove for an hour expecting the hotel to be near the centre of Villasimius (on all the websites it say it's a kilometre from the centre). It isn't. Definitely not a four star hotel, the rooms were basic and tired. The food was excellent but drinks were exceptionally expensive. A small bottle of still water was 2euros and there was nowhere nearby to buy things. We stocked up with wine and water from Villasimius which was a ten to fifteen minute drive away. Me and my partner stayed in this hotel in september 2008 for 1 week. The hotel is lovely and right on the beach, which was a lovely sandy beach too.
