Castello Di Poreta was the perfect stay for us. It came at the end of our first day on The Olive Tree Trail which goes from Spoleto to Assisi and the Castello is at the end the end of the first day's hike. This hotel was o.k. but nothing special and also overpriced. After visiting Spoleto for the day, we drove 15 min North to Poreta, a very small town overlooked by a ruined wall surrounding the hotel Castello di Poreta.
