Having stayed in hostels all over europe, australia and africa between us, myself and my partner felt confident that, based on it's hostel bookers advert, this would be a great hostel, more like a hotel in fact! What we experienced as we finished the excruciating hill climb couldn't have been further from our expectations. One thing we will say is that the room was relatively clean, although the same could not be said for the shower area. When we arrived there was nobody there to greet us. I had to resort to an emergency bell which alerted the owner. She then instructed me to find an old man who would be sitting out by the garden!
