We have been to quite a number of five-star hotel but I think this is the first time we have stayed in a *****L one. Believe you me, it really deserves that "L". This hotel is Royal in name and really Royal in everything about it. The room we had was enormous; the view from the balcony, magnificent, the staff... More

I was a little worried about this hotel when I booked it as the website looked far too good compared to the TA reports. No need to be concerned, it quite lovely and beautifully maintained. So many hotels like this from a bygone era have fallen into disrepair and have become shabby. Not so here. This place is immaculate in... More

We visited this hotel last summer and would NEVER return! The interior of the hotel had been redone, the rooms we stayed in were lovely but the pool and "private" beach were terrible. The pool area is run down , and the chaises and tables were probably from 1960, broken, unusable, and the pool, although a classic design had tiles... More

* We stayed here in a Junior Suite. What a room and view! Absolutely fabulous. * The grounds are spectacular and the pool area is fun and inviting. The pool-side wait staff is very attentive. * The breakfast is served buffet style and the wait staff is jacketed in formal attire. * We loved the room so much we spent... More

After a long drive from Florence I was more than happy to arrive here. Booked through LHW and got a free upgrade which is always nice. Flowers and courtesy wine too but hey each to his own. The biggesest attraction was the swimming pool which my son loved, its enormous with an underwater passageway. Good pool-side service as well with... More

This hotel is a great place to stay overnight or even for an extended stay. San Remo might have drawn the rich and famous in earlier times and the hotel would have been a preferred place to stay in those times, but today the hotel has been modernised and offers guest a glimpse of what the high life might be... We've been relying on tripadvisor reviews for many years, but the experience in this hotel was so special that we wanted to share it. The location is great, 5 min walk to the town centre, right across sandy beaches, and the noise from the quite busy road in front is sufficiently dimmed by the beautiful garden and pool, if you... Lovely staff who make you feel very pampered. Nice location and stunning views of the Med. Beautiful sea water pool which is well maintained. Didn't get to the beach but there is a private one. Breakfast has a massive selection of continental style items. Rooms big and airy. Walk in wardrobes, large bathroom and plenty of toilettries. Spotlessly clean. Good... More
