My second visit to La Torre , the february half term week with my two teenage kids so not a great deal of relative value as we've come to expect. I had first visited in Feb 2010 with an old uni buddy for a boys ski trip which was great so had a good idea what to expect. Nothing much... More

The basics are here. Reasonable rooms, although abit dated. Clean and functional the place is as they say like a Prison and has no "soul". The Dining room is a joke in terms of ambience as the Head Waiter clearly has some anger management issues. The buffet starter food was very good but in a week I never got a... More

After reading many of they reviews for this hotel myself and my friends arrived at this hotel on they 4th March with some levels of concern that we may have got our hotel choice wrong. However we could not have been more happy with our choice. Compared to other four star hotels that I have stopped in, in ski resort... More

My partner and I stayed here from 26 Feb - 4 March. The location is fantastic, just five minutes from center and all the bars but in a quiet location. The building is interesting and I think if you has noisy people in the rooms next to you it could be a problem, we did not fortunately. We found the... More

Though it says 4 star, but it's no way near the 4 star standard in my opinion. May be it's the Italy's 4 star? We got a small room, no kettle/tea facilities in the room, no wifi in the room, the tv was so small and the swimming pool was not free. The dinner anti pasta buffet was good, and... More

We stayed as a large group in Janauary 2012. On arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon (1.30pm) we found our room would not be ready until 5pm. All the want to do after setting off at 2am in the morning and negotating Turin airport (which is a night mare) is to freshen up. The Hotel is actiually quite... More

Staffon arrival and during our stay were friendly and very helpful. The food was well recieved by all in our party; especially the breakfast. We were a party of five skiers sharing two rooms (three in one and two in the other) and the room for three was large enough to cater for the three beds. The rooms were adequate... More

The bones of this hotel are good, once you’ve gotten over the fact that it looks like a giant water-cooling tower from the outside, the rooms are good and well maintained and the views impressive – I can even forgive the annoyance of the slowness of the lift (we were on the top floor) and poor hairdryer provided, but what... Initial impressions were good as we entered the spacious bar area, but that may have been due to the relief of having finally escaped the chaos that is Turin airport's baggage reclaim area! Bar staff were friendly (particularly Santina) as were most of the other staff with the exception of the restaurant manager, who seemed hell bent on applying some... More

Breakfast was at least 4 star with a selection of everything incl. english , cakes, yoghurts, cereals, crepes and toast. Rooms were clean and decent size with... More
