Entry of the hotel is very nice with the small patio outside. We could park out car in front of the hotel without paying. Inside of the hotel is very elegant and room way nice. We did not try the restaurant but has good reviews in the tourist guides. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of pastries. more
This was a glorious place to stay. We had a pretty lengthy drive to Ragusa, mainly because the main town was having a fiesta, so all the traffic was diverted. This is a lovely little hotel. Our room 117 was very spacious, clean and loads of character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than any 3 star hotel we've stayed at before. The location is very central and their neighbouring restaurant is excellent but be sure they book a table for you in high season. more

We found this hotel very pleasant for the price. It's not a 5 star establishment but everything was new (2006), the breakfast was very good and the staff patient with our lack of Italian. We stayed for 2 nights at Il Barocco. Downstairs room was dark and ugly. With heavy carved furniture and airless. Our room also stank of cheap disinfectant.
