I was so excited about Il Pellicano, that I was a disapointed, when I realized common zones where so reduced, swiming pool, terrace, lounges are quite reduced, even the room, not being the cheapest one was quite small, without any place fo having breakfast or room service inside.Just to finish,Argentario deserves the visit, but Hotel is too expensive according what... Lat minute booking to Il Pellicano was worth it. Friendly and helpful staff, without beiing to close. The suite with seaview is perfectly decorated in a simply but elegant style. Mini bar complimentary, bedlinen changed every day, towels twice and a beautiful large terrace with deckchairs and loungers. Restaurant (2 macerons Michelin) is very pleasant and comes with good choice... More

The hotel's location certainly plays a decisive role in classifying the Pelican as one of the finest small luxurious hotels of the world. But this is only one of the aspects that makes it magical: you will be surprised by the unique and elegant decoration of the rooms, the delicious and refined cuisine from Chef Antonio Guida and his team,... We staied one night only. i am thinking one night unfortunatelly. PORTO ercole is a beautifull small town, its a seaside place with a fantastic panoramm and small castell. The castomer service was perfect. The all staff who we met was very kind, with lots of smile. Restaurant service was for 5 stars. Missing the time after the long driving... More

STRUCTURE: only hotel resorts that can be defined in the whole coast of Italy, great cluster of villas on the Argentario promontory, overlooking the sea, secluded, a haven for lovers of silence, the sea, peace and the class trends in Italy. If you seek the classic American mega resort that is not for you, here you can still feel the... More

We wanted to get away from it all and enjoy the last days of summer. We decided to go three nights to Il Pelicano. This is a perfect Hideaway and you feel like in a time capsule back to the 60th. You expect that Peter Sellers comes around the corner and looks for Brigit Bardot. The views are a bit... More

Il Pellicano is a stylish hideaway. Our experience was one of manicured grounds smelling of rosemary and pine, smiling helpful staff, and tucked-away places to sit and enjoy the view of the sea.  There is a cosy, almost "country house party" feeling about this hotel, even though the estate is very large and on lots of different levels.  The guest... Impeccable, warm, personalized service. Top-notch amenities. Modern rooms, spacious bathrooms (but beware of a design mistake that is a step that you can't help but bump into as you enter the bathroom, and one that you almost always miss, since it blends in with the floor, so that's a lawsuit in the making). Great decor. None of that impeccable service... More

Horrible rip off in the middle of nowhere is the only way to describe this glorified Holiday Inn. It has nice views and good food but the rooms are outdated and dirty. Apparently, they have not gotten the memo here about infectious diseases. The "gym", which is comprised of 2 machines and some weights in a closet, offered headsets that... More

This hotel is fantastic! It has a totally cool retro feel to it. I kept expecting to see Steve McQueen walk around the corner. Seriously, a very lovely hotel, fantastic 2 star Michelin restaurant, and a delightful staff. I highly recommend Il Pellicano for a relaxing vacation. More
