I fail to understand who granted this hotel with four stars... It is more like a good two-star or three star hotel. The only positive aspect is the fact that it is in the upper town, so that you can easily reacht the centre of town on foot. Old room. Extremely noisy (I didn't manage to get some sleep before...

The single room was the size of a broom closet. The bathroom shower was indescrible in terms of size. It was clean, no air conditioning to speak of. Had to keep windows open all night and wound up with mosquito bites the next morning. The breakfast buffet was nice and the area was lovely and quaint. Solo travelers always pay...

We needed a larger room, and those seem to be in the annex, which is old, tired and overpriced. The room was large, on two levels, but worn out. Our room was quite dark even with all the lights on. The boiler broke down the day of our stay and we had no hot water until the next morning, but...

Rooms were simple but very clean. The bathroom was very modern at spotless. Free Wifi included. The breakfast room was historic and beautifully decorated. Large range of food for the included buffet breakfast. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

It is difficult to rate this hotel. On the one hand it is reasonably priced, the downstairs dining and lounge area are kind of charming, the location is good, the hotel seems bicycle friendly, and the staff is energetic. Indeed, one lady of a certain age hustled about a ton of an Insight tour group's luggage up a few stairs...

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights. We had got an offer on line, for a superior room for 250 Euro for the three nights. Our room was a fair size with a very high ornate ceiling. The bathroom was tiny but new and everything worked very well. The bed was very comfortable, and seemed new with good...

Orvieto is a classic Italian town. High in the hill with spectacular views of the surrounding country side. The hotel is hospitable, clean and friendly.
We were on an In-Sight tour and this was a good choice of hotel for a historical and cultural interest stop. The lifts work, although slowly to all the floors which are well maintained and...

A very charming hotel that seemed to be stuck in a time before now, along with the rest of the town. The dining room was beautiful and although many reviewers would see this hotel as "outdated" I see it as more of an antique.
It surely wasn't 4 star, maybe a good 3 star, but we definitely had a nice...

We stayed here as a walk-in. It's the off season in October. The hotel was empty and it only cost 90 Euros. There is a car park down a little lane at the back but you'll need to be a very good driver to squeeze in. The staff were great and they would not charge me for a beer which...
