This hotel is one of the cheapest hotels we have booked for this trip. It is excellent for the value of money. I think this apartment style hotel would be excellent if you were going in a big group as it is very spacious and have multiple rooms. However, (this is purely a personal perception!) I was quite scared of... More

Prior to arrival we received a map of where to park; we booked the private parking. Equipped with that we set out from Chianti to Montepulciano. Oh dear, quite the experience finding our way up the winding hill roads of Montepulciano, and for some reason the next day we feared no better..but getting lost you get to see some amazing... More

We stayed in the top apartment for four persons. The apartment was clean, spacious and rustic but modern at the same time. The old internal courtyard is magical at night and we feel asleep to the sounds of the opera performance from the town piazza.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartments with views over the Tuscan countryside. The apartment is a converted convent with modern features and a great kitchen for preparing your own Italian cuisine. Located only 30 meters from the main piazza, it is surrounded by great restaurants and, if you book ahead, parking just around the corner. We stayed for 3... More

Overall this was a great place. The hotel was one of the highlights of our trip--the atmosphere of the historic building and the central location added a whole extra dimension to our experience. We were thrilled to stay at the hotel. The "room" was actually a huge apartment--we are a family of five, and the apartment was extremely spacious for... More

We stayed here for 4 nights after a horrible experience at Rome train station, when we arrived reception had closed so we called the afterhours bell and we were checked in fast without any fuss. The receptionist even gave us water as we didn’t have any left, we were shown to our beautiful 2 bedroom apartment over-looking the country side,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights - it was spacious and in a great location. They didn't have parking for us (you need to pre-arrange) and the second room in the apartment was odd with only a couch but no tv or bed. Other than those small items I would recommend this place.

We stayed at Palazzo Bellarmino which dates back to the 1500's for 6 nights in May 2012. We had a very clean apartment with a separate kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and bath. Our bedroom window looked out onto the Piazza Grande. Montepulciano is a picturesque town with lots of places to eat and people watch. It is in a good location... More

We spent three nights at the Palazzo Bellarmino and it was terrific. We had a bedroom, full kitchen, bathroom and sitting room all clean, although the furnishings were a little basic. It's a perfect location right off the Piazza - a great place to take a bottle of Vino Nobile de Montepulciano and watch all the tourists get into their... More

Pros - good location, CLEAN, large, neat history behind the building (St. Roberto Bellarmino lived there) Negatives - can be a bit loud - it is a very old building and sound carries very well; the rooms were pretty basic; our room had no view
