We found this place from the recommendation of a friend. After getting lost trying to find it, we made a call and were soon met by the owner in a funny orange car with green monkeys painted on the side!
I don't want to spoil the story, but be sure to ask about the circus and the car! It is...

it was like being in my sister's home in Italy (except i don't have a sister in Italy). i felt so comfortable and welcome to be there. I'm not much of a cook but the cooking class was so much fun. if we are able to return to Italy i"d want to stay Poggio Etrusco longer and skip the cruise....

My daughter and I stayed at Poggio Estusco in the spring of 2009. A very warm welcome and lovely accomodations. We recieved helpful info to the surrounding areas for daytrips. Pamela took us to a farmers market to purchase food for our cooking class. Preparing dishes in her kitchen was a highlight of our trip! We learned new techniques for...

One year later, we're back at Poggio Etrusco. Everything we loved the first time is just as wonderful the second time. This year we spent more time driving around on our own, with advice as always from Pamela and Johnny. We picked a few olives again, too. And yes, we plan to take Pamela's Piemonte tour next Fall, and return...

Our hosts Pamela and Johnny were super-friendly and accommodating -- and knew ALL the great places to eat. Very important! The country Tuscan cooking workshop we did with Pamela was informative and festive, and going to the market was fun. The...

My 26 yr old daughter and I attended Pamela's class in May 2010 and we couldn't have been more welcomed. We started at the market with all the beautiful spring vegetables and proceeded to slice, dice, mix and produce a beautiful meal that lasted hours all while drinking homemade liqueurs and making new friends The accommodations are historic yet comfortable,...

I spent a week at Poggio Etrusco, traveling alone, during "La Raccolta", the olive harvest. What a wonderful week! The accommodations are lovely - spacious, comfortable, and very Italian. The food was excellent. Breakfasts were wonderful and lunch was delicious, with cooking lessons throughout. For dinner, we went to local restaurants and food purveyors, all of whom are friends of...
