We went for a weeks break with extended family and a baby. The hotel was really friendly and we really liked the staff who made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were reasonable and very clean but they could do with a bit of an upgrade. We had a problem with the air conditioning which was bearable... more

We stayed at this hotel as part of our EuroBike Tuscany Tour - a great way to see Tuscany, by the way. This hotel is clean, comfortable, affordable and conveniently located in Montecatini Terme. The rooms are small by American standards - the bathrooms are very small - but perfectly acceptable. The beds and pillows are typical for Italy, ie,... more

Stayed for 4 nights touring Tuscany, with family of 4 and friends. Good base for both day-trips with train (& car) to Pisa, Lucca and Florence, and for just relaxing by the pool. Also close to tram to Montecatini Alto, a picturesque Tuscan village on top of a hill. Nice entrance, friendly staff, great patio and pool (possible to dive!),... more

My wife and I stayed here in September as part of a tour for two nights. We found the hotel to be clean and the food fine. Some comments concerning this hotel I find somewhat nitpicking. The front garden is very well presented as is the front lobby.Montecatini Terme is a lovely spa town and well worth walking around and also has a... more

My daughter stayed in this hotel while on a tour with a youth symphony. The grounds are beautiful, and it fits right in with the spa aura of the town of Montecatini Terme. The lobby is very enchanting, with a piano, and crystal chandeliers. The room my daughter had was quite spacious. The windows opened out, with no screens, and... more

Staff not very friendly, food mediocre.bar seldom attended. Worst thing was our room got broken into on second night there. management very unsympathetic-not offered... more

We thought the rooms were large and comfortable--however,we left an air-conditioned room at 5pm and came back to a hot humid environment throughout the hotel at 10:30 pm---not a repair problem--they just turn it all off to save money!!! The parking is minimal and the breakfast buffet is terrible.. If they left on the AC it would be a reasonable... more

As the base for our daytrips to various parts of Tuscany, this hotel is a little too far from the train station. Not downhill towards the train but in returning uphill after a days exercise. In spite of the name it is about the same height as its neighbors, there's not much of a panorama on distant views. For the... more

Hotel has a four star rating but is reallly a three star hotel. Good pool and patio. Rooms are small and with poor air conditioning. Had to open window at night and noise from adjoining thorough fare was dominating. Breakfasts were good but not consistent in choice. Location away from Centre but close to Finculaire to Montecatini Alto. more
