Hotel is close to the city-center, have a swimmingpool on the roof where there also is sun chairs. It has 2 lifts to all the floors. Nice garden area with comfortable chairs. More

We always stay at this hotel when in Tuscany. It is superbly located, the roof top swimming pool is usually quiet and has spectacular views and the breakfasts are very good. I love the gardens, they are peaceful and well designed with lots of places to sit and eat. Ideally located for the spas and for shopping. Parking is on... More

Stayed at this Hotel for a week as part of a tour. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the meals are excellent ( 3 choices for each course ), rooms are clean and tidy and reasonably sized as were the en-suites. There is a swiming pool on the roof ( 5th floor ) which is open till 7pm every... More

We booked this as a late availability holiday, having loved Montecatini Terme when we visited last year. We were a bit apprehensive as to what awaited after reading some reviews, but for us (and I think it helps staying for a week plus in one place as I suspect we got good treatment, perhaps better than the many 2 or... This is an older hotel that has undergone some renovations that have preserved the charm. It's location is among other hotels in Montecatini Terme. We were part of a bus tour, so I do not know where one would park a car. This hotel , itself, was delightful. The outside gardens were beautiful, and serene. The concierge was extremely helpful,... Montecatini is a delightful place and I would certainly go back again. However, I would not return to the Imperial Garden. The room was extremely small and the bathroom was absolutely tiny. The furniture was bashed up. There was no dressing table, just an old bureau. The food is terrible. I couldn't find anything to eat at breakfast - it... More

I stayed in Montecatini while on a walking holiday for a full week, so I got a good feel for this hotel. My first impression was that it really needed a lot of work doing to the interior. There was a strange mix of old and new which suggested that the hotel had old roots, but recently less care had... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my week's stay at the Imperial Garden, in a single room on the 3rd floor, with a lovely view out over the terracotta tiled roofs. The room had maid service every day, and was always clean with fresh linen and towels (they use cotton bath sheets, not the more familiar cotton looped towels, but more than adequate... More

We stayed here for 6 nights as part of a coach tour around Tuscany. The hotel is certanly no where near 4 star, maybe 2 plus, it certainly hasn't had a refurbishment recently as claimed. There was an air of neglect about the hotel and gardens. The rooms are very small and drably decorated. Our room had a bath with... More

Montecatini is a nice town, very quiet and clean. Some good shops and a funicular to Montecatini Alto where there are some good bars and restaurants. Our experience of the Imperial Garden was that this is nowhere near a 4 star hotel. The room was small and poorly decorated - their website says recently refurbished but that must be some... More
