The Hotel Consul is a family run establishment in the busy seaside resort of Milano Marittima, one of the swankiest seaside resorts on the Adriatic (literally Milan by the sea). Milano Marittima has a host of hotels from 5* to B&B and the Consul is a typically old school Italian hotel, where you will be met and greeted by the owner and his family. The rooms are well appointed and very clean, but this is a beach hotel, so though rooms have all the basic amenities they weren't built or appointed for business meetings! The highlight of this hotel is its restaurant, offering homely Italian cooking at its best with a good selection of first and main courses that changes daily. Overall the atmosphere is very relaxed and the hotel is a stone throw from the beach and the centre of Milano Marittima where all the boutiques are located, so you'd never be bored.
