Taxi price from the airport to the hotel was 35 euro. Once at the hotel the front room and corridors stunk. The receptionists were rude, arguing with other customers and then saying that they represent us "as brits" when we were just walking past. This hotel in a quiet setting, 500m from Mestre train station , or 250m from bus-2 is worth its price. Very good breakfast. Small till normal size rooms, small bathrooms, plenty of towels. Wifi-zone, PC for the non-tabloid-androids also available. In all : good hotel and good service.

We had already booked the hotel before we read the comments.... Well since we couldn't go back we were mentally prepared. Because we drove from Zurich, via Milan to Mestre we would arrive late. The staff was friendly and polite. The reception smels like a sewerage, the breakfast is the same every day, the rooms are not clean, we found hair on the pillow , there is no shower cabin...it's a no!

Very nice design, well placed and comfortable, I recommend this hotel for the tourists who travel a lot and preffer a cheap accomodation. The staff is not so nice, we had a problem with an early check-in. Anyway if you dont plan to stay to much time in your hotel room instead of visiting Venice it's ok.

We paid around £100 for a three night stay which over valentines day seemed very good but after staying here I was glad that I hadnt paid more. we enjoyed our stay in hotel piave. we found the staff helpful, particularly the man who checked us in, he gave us exvellent advice on places to visit. we stayed in the rooms down the road from the hotel, the room was spacious, spotless and had a lovely big bathroom.
