“Fairly good value, basic but comfortable accommodation”

La Dependance was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly. Sharing a bathroom (there are 2 bathrooms between 5 rooms) was not too much of a problem. Our family (of 5) stayed in this hotel and had a room overlooking the main square of Menaggio. Our view included the square and the lake and couldn't have been better. The drawback was that without airconditioning, we had to leave windows open and therefore hear all the noise of people in the square till all hours of the night.... More

Nice guest house with a beautiful location. It is an annex of the Hotel du Lac in Menaggio. I normally stay away from community bathrooms, but the two here were very nice.
