Black Jack Lodge is situated right by a beautiful beach. There is a shop close by and also a cafe and a pizza place. Rooms were basic but very clean. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor places to eat. We returned to Black Jack after 4 years and relived happy memories of a comfortable lodge in superb surroundings. Carl and Carla are welcoming hosts and the little village of Kuaotunu now boasts an excellent rustic restaurant, as well as a shop and art gallery/coffee shop. Unbeatable location for a few lazy days or to explore the whole Coromandel Peninsula.
