I spent two weeks here while working nearby but as I am to be going back again soon I am looking for somewhere else to stay. The room I had was spartan, the bed was extremely hard, I had two windows which both let in minimal light as they looked out on a central funnel is all I can describe... More

We had an alright time here and the staff was generally very nice with a couple of exceptions. This was a bit under what we would normally expect from a 4 Star hotel. No free internet or Wi-Fi in the rooms for example - so doing simple tasks like checking email was a chore. The television only had a few... More

I come to Ferrara quite often for work, so Hotel Ferrara has become my home away from home. Staff are super friendly, food is great (let Diego choose or make something for you), I love the bicicle service to go around the city, and location could not be better. Fantastic view of the castle in front, and all shops, restaurants,... More

What a surprise! We had no expectations of this hotel and it turned out to be spectacular. An enormous room on the top floor was worth spending a little more for (even though the prices are very reasonable compared to the major cities). The public spaces are tiny but the rooms are large. The modern bar outside is great for... More

We spend one night here as part of an EuroBike cycle trip from Venice to Florence. The rooms was of good size, very good bed, clean, with small bathroom (shower) facilities. Breakfast served is very good with a good buffet selection. Coffee served is excellent. The hotel is located right in the centre of town near the castle. More

Lovely hotel in the middle of Ferrara right opposite the castle!! Lovely staff who were very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic! The best thing about the restaurant was that it had a great homely feel to it unlike many hotel restaurants I have stayed in!! The room was nice if not a bit small but the most annoying part... More

Very central, but good double-glazing means the lively nightlife in the square opposite the castle doesn't interefere with sleep at all - I had a castle-facing room and slept deeply. It's 36 degrees outside right now, so the excellent air-conditioning makes the difference between life and death. Rooms - clean, well-appointed and reasonably spacious (large bathroom with bath and shower).... More

Having visited Ferrara before, I chose this hotel for the location and the apartment facility. A family of four adults, we stayed for 2 nights. It's a pleasant 20 mins walk from the Station and check in went smoothly. Double bed in kitchen area and separate room with twin beds and roomy bathroom. All rather stylish but it was not... More

Great location in the heart of Ferrara. The room was small and not luxurious. The beds were a little bit hard. Breakfast was OK More

We were drawn to this hotel from the recommendations in TA! We found this a lovely small hotel in a very pretty town. The hotel was easy to find right opposite the Castle in the towns center. We had views of it. The room was large and on the top floor - I would say an attic that had been... More
