It was raining when we arrived at Villa Guilia. My husband dashed inside to let Anna know we had arrived-she came right out with an umbrella, greeted me warmly and escorted me inside. We were immediately offered a beverage and a seat in the charming living room. It was cold and damp so we asked for wine which arrived accompanied... More

I went back to Villa Giulia on the hill over Fano with a few friends and I found the place more enchanting and welcoming than the first time I was there a few years ago. The swallows had not arrived yet, but the grounds around the house were in full bloom: all shadows of deep shining greens. Most of the... More

Peter & Bobbie My wife and I arrived on a Sunday afternoon for a week at the Villa Giulia and were immediately welcomed as friends more than guests. The setting is magnificent and the villa itself quite grand in an unpretentious way. The Villa, as many others have commented, is first a home and a home that is lived in.... More

From the welcome to the farewell, Anna Passi and her team went out of their way to look after us. Not only is it a private, family house, but it feels well-loved and lived-in, with endless books and pictures and lots of comfortable places to hide away and relax. There is a delightful pool with hammocks and a terrace for... More

Everyone at villa giulia has been lovely. Would definitely recommend this place to our discerning friend who enjoy extraordinary experiences without a lot of typical American (and often pointless) pomp.

Beautiful villa in glorious surroundings. Magnificent views over the sea and countryside. Extremely quiet and secluded. Great fun in very large swimming pool available for children and adults. Delicious food and huge choice of breakfast, organic, local and fresh, served by friendly staff. Both hotel rooms and apartments around the grounds available. Really handy for the annual Rossini Opera Festival... More

It is lovely place, beautiful atmosphere, very nice friendly people, everything is just perfect, the only think should be improve - the cleaness of the rooms, there were spiderswebs almost everywhere, kitchen and other equipment was too old and a lot of things inside the room didn´t work properly or didn´t work at all :-). The rooms need a big... More

The friendly laid back welcome we received really set the scene for our remaining three night stay. This is a place to relax in, away from the coastal belt, and savour the stunning views with drinks from the honesty bar. The swimming pool is set a distance from the main house so families with children do not intrude on other... More

I stayed here for a week with my husband and 2yr old son on our first family holiday with just the three of us and relished the peace and quiet of the wonderful setting and beautiful house. There is a low key and laid back but luxurious feel to the place - it really felt like we had it to... More
