Stayed here for one night on short notice on Easter Sunday. Hotel was closing the next day, but you would not have known it, the staff were friendly and not just putting in time. the room was fine - we got a small "suite", beds comfortable and bathroom. Each floor seemed to have a large common sitting room that looked... More

I stayed there a couple of nights during Christmas Holydays, the location is good for bars and shopping but everything else is terrible... The employees are rude and they never smile. Arrogants at night when you get back from bars, or when you ask for you car. Fool of kids screaming soccer corus... It is full of other better hotels... More

The Royal was somewhat average - the rooms were basic and the firm beds left a bit to be desired. On the plus side, the hotel has an excellent location in the center of town, they have parking right there, and the breakfast is nice.

I was a little worried about this hotel after my boyfriend booked it because I read that there were noise problems, but we were given a room (#6) that faced the back and it was extremely quiet. Since it was one of the less expensive hotels in Cortina's center I was worried that the place would be dinghy, but it... More

We stayed in Hotel Royal for ten days - the breakfast was very good with quite a variety of food - fruit, ceral, breads, meat & sweets, etc. The room we had was very clean. The owners & staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel is situated near several very good restaurants & a short walk... More

This small hotel is in the best possible location in Cortina. In the center of the town, inside the "pedestrian only" part and close to everything. It has a parking lot and if you are a guest of the hotel you can drive there. I had a B&B fare, which is good because in Cortina you can find good restaurants,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Royal in January. We called in advanced and booked a double bedroom with the hotel directly. While on the phone we inquired about parking, alerting them to the fact that we would be arriving late in the evening. We were reassured that it would be no problem to obtain parking upon arrival.... We chose the Royal for it's central location and went 3* as it was the only Hotel in the brochure which did B&B as we wanted to eat out each evening and try differant restaurants. I think this could be a great hotel. The location is great. The decor is sad. Each room is differant as we tried 3 during... More

This hotel is quite grand for a 3 star and certainly didnt dissapoint. Our room overlooked the main square and corso italia and although it wasnt large it was very clean and welcoming with plenty of wardrobe space. There are also large lounges on all floors. My main complaint is that the beds and pillows were both too hard. Agree... More

My husband and I just returned from a ski trip here. We went knowing nothing about the hotel, trusting the recommendation of Alpine Adventures, the tour packager we used. Here's what we found: The rooms are small but cozy, with hardwood floors and knotty pine furniture. They are extremely clean. There is a TV, but no English speaking channels with... More
