The rooms are miniscule & shabby. The front desk personnel arrogant and not helpful. The shower allows water to splash all over the floor. The Ambasciatori is a good standard 4* hotel. The staff are very friendly and unfailingly helpful. Food was very adequate is not spectacular and plenty of it. The rooms are quite small and could do with updating, however they are very clean and the food and service was very good. The hotel is close to shops and local buses to get you to the old town and beyond. More

We stayed there as part of a touring group. Some people had to be moved to new rooms because of the ant infestation. Breakfasts are bare bones. Many of the rooms have a shower in a bathtub with no shower curtain, resulting in a huge soggy mess after every shower. Desk staff is not particularly helpful. Avoid if possible. More
