I've visited this hotel several times in the last couple of years becaue I love Italy so much, and the hotel makes a great base to explore tuscany. I've always went with Shearings couch tours, and have to recommend them for the friendly and sociable drivers who are always willing to help as much as they can! The hotel is family run by Lucia and Roberto, who are always there with a smile, ready to help. Your luggage is taken straight to your room for you, and your room is ready straight away. They are tidied every day and kept very clean. The hotel might be basic, but you don't need much more. There is a bar so that you can take your drinks out outside and sit in the shade. The location is fantastic, as the hotel is situated on the main road which overlooks the paronamic tuscan countryside. Just a stroll down the main road and you reach the local shops (and every Wednesday there is a massive market with stalls upon stalls.)
