Eclectic decor, but it works. Good service from a friendly staff. Clean and well maintained. Decent breakfast buffet. Conveniently located close to the train station and the City Center. The rooftop terrace provides a great view of the City and surrounding countryside. More

We loved our stay here. The hotel decor and rooms were a curious mix of funky modern and gaudy ornate, which worked well. Rooms were super clean, breakfast buffet was a little underwhelming, but overall good service and great location presented at great value. Beautiful rooftop terrace adds a special bonus. More

Attractive room and public spaces, friendly staff, good breakfast. Must pay for parking but car is secure and process is very efficient. More

This is an old-style three-star which some would describe as having seen better days. You may agree, but it depends largely on your taste and what you're used to when you travel. I had an exceedingly comfortable and enjoyable three-night stay -- but I tend to go for places with a bit of retro glamour. Bland business hotel, this is... More

We stayed for just one night to visit Arezzo and the frescos en route between Lucca and Urbino. It made a good stop-over point. We usually try to find accommodation places with “local” charm and ambience, but as it was just for one night, we went for location. I wouldn’t usually write a review about a business-style hotel (which it... More

I would recommend this hotel due to 1. Room are not clean 2. Bad smell 3. The air conditioner was not working and Arezzo temp was 32 C when I visited 4. Break fast was not good The good thing is the location, nearer to Main train station. Since I stayed for only one night, I could not visit Arezzo... More

A good location in the center of the city, near to the railway station and to the antiques market. We had a silent room with more than accetable furniture. A very good balace quality/price. More

Ideal location for the Antiques Fair and some good restaurants nearby but this was the only place in Italy where we had misunderstandings about breakfast, which was (we discovered after eating it) not included and very overpriced. Room was just OK, atmosphere was also just OK. Would not recommend. More

I booked a single room in this hotel on a business weekend. I visited the hotel website and chose to stay here because of the rooms presentation and the central location. But I was wrong. Apart central location, close both to the railway station and the old town, the hotel was really disappointing. The room was small with second-third hand... More

We spent a night at the Continentale in October 2007 solely because of its proximity to the railway station and Avis car rental office. We booked a standard room, and we guess that is what we got. It was clean, relatively comfortable and well-equipped, but the decor was dated and the bathroom door was hanging off its hinges. When booking we... More
