We only spent one night at la Cinque Novelle and it was great, We were welcomed by Giovanni who was very helpful. We were able to park our car for free very close. He also advised a very close by restaurant for lunch: expanificio. We loved it so much that we went back for diner! The rooms are very nicely... More

Le Cinque Novelle is a very nice Bed&Breakfast in the center of Agrigento. The rooms are in good style and orientated on a motive of the Italian writer Luigi Pirandello. We had a silent room with view to a little garden. At the first morning a very sweet breakfast was served. It was delicious but not easy to digest. Therefore... More

Wow! What a gem of a B&B! We had a spacious well-furnished room. The premises was in excellent condition, giving us the impression that it was newly opened. Our breakfast was a large assortment of incredible Sicilian pastries, with juice, coffee or tea. We were provided with directions to a restaurant the first evening, and then a map and directions... We had a booking confirmed by email for Saturday 22nd October through hotel.info. We had no other contact from the owners but didn't think that was strange. We arrived at 1pm by bus from Catania airport but the place was shut up tight. We rang the bell and knocked on the door so much that another occupant of the building... More

Dear Sirs F. I remember my long awaiting your arrival until 10.30 am ... Yes, because contrary to what you say, I was at home waiting for you patiently, to no avail! All other guests (no. 8 people), arriving for the day, are regularly arrived ... except you. But to understand what happened, I just went to talk to my... More

A lady form the B&B came to pick us up at the bus station which was very nice, but she couldn't speak a word of English, French or any other language but Italian. The breakfast was very disappointing: no fresh juice (such as promised on the website), only cookies and pastries (no cannolis neither so as written on a booking... More

Dear Ladies, I remember your stay even if, as you say, I was a "ghost"! :-) I state that the young lady who came to get with the car at the bus station (service not included, but totally free for those in need) is, too, owns with me. So the Owner was always present. You lament the fact that she... More

Due to bad weather where we were staying on the other side of Sicily (Finale, Pollina), we decided to spend a couple of days in general area, visiting the archeological sites at Agrigento, Selinunte and Eraclea Minoa. We also wanted to visit Montalbano's Vigata (Porto Empedocle). We stayed here, and it was lovely. The room had a view out over... More

The location of this B & B is superb. It is in the center of Agrigento, but also very convenient if you want to get out town quickly without the traffic issue among the narrow alleyways. The room was very pretty with nice view of the surroundings. Giovanni was an excellent host. He even offered to drive to the Valley... More

Staying two nights in Giovanni's "Five Novels" (all by Pirandello, local literary celebrity of course) was delightful. He has created something very special out of part of an ancient building in the charming and sometimes quirky town of Agrigento. The room we had was large, beautifully furnished and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was every confection you could... More

Great room with a view of the temples, very clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced and a nice breakfast. Easy to walk to all the local cafes, shops and restaurants, as the B&B is right in the heart of town. We took a taxi from the station as it was quite an uphill walk with luggage - well worth ten euros.... More

I wonder about the provinence of the previous reviews on tripadvisor, I cant really say that it lived up to any of the good reveiws it received. True its centrally located and Giovanni is a great guy but it in no way makes up for the extremely poor rooms. I've stayed in many many hotels and B&Bs over the years... More

Dear guest, thank you for the positive comments on my person but I am afraid I have to contradict everything you said about the rest ... Beds: I state that our structure has only double rooms and two of these can add an extra bed. All mattresses are of standard size Italian (cm190 high) To you has been assigned a... More
