If you have arthritis then this is the perfect spot for mud treatments. Full board is best value as the food is very good. Stay only in the modern rooms as the unrenovated ones are depressing. There is a 40euro charge for pool use but if you stay one week then it's not so bad as there are two heated... More

Dear Guest, your comments are very much appreciated. About the rooms I agree with you, and that is why we have now renovated all "Elegance" and "De Luxe" rooms in the central building. In the "Excecutive Wing" we have all our new Junior and Senior Suites. We are also considering the renovation of our Gym, with new machines for work... More

I stayed with my family who come to the hotel every year and love it. The location is fantastic, surrounded by pedestrian zone and it is pretty green. Very nice bar area where you can sit and watch the world go by or outside, (it was a shame we could not at it was raining, it looked very nice. What... More

Dear Guest, I would like to thank you for your review, I am glad that you enjoyed the quiet but central location of our hotel, our service and cuisine as well as our facilities like the thermal pools, our garden and the refined atmosphere of our bar and lobby. Unfortunately the room you occupied is probably one of the few... More

We stayed for one night and generally enjoyed the experience, though at times it did feel a bit staid. I would agree totally with other reviewers that the first impression is not great as the main building is very ugly, but once inside we liked it. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed it very much. I especially enjoyed being... More

Dear Guest, thank you for taking your time to post this review. Please consider that the Trieste & Victoria is an historical house, and I am glad that, after the first impression, you enjoyed the atmosphere of our hotel. The hotel is very quiet located, in the city centre, right in the middle of the pedestrian area, and surrounded by... More

Old rooms, broken TV, uncomfortable mattress, bad air con, no air extraction in bathrooms. Unreported obligatory 40 Euro fee for using the pool (never seen this before) If you stay for any length of time you will find the food menu repetitive and monotonous. This place needs a serious renovation job to bring to the 21st century. The slightest damage... More

We've been really pampered at the Grand Hotel Trieste & Victoria. It offers great relaxing facilities such as three thermal pools and fantastic beauty treatments. Perfectly located right in the heart of the town, along the pedestrian area, so very very quiet. Deliciuos food and good service at the restaurant (thanks Pietro, you're the number one!). Definitely suggested! More

I visited Grand Hotel Trieste & Victoria for the first time and I could consider the spa as a really high class of spa, the environment and professional therapists make it one of the best I ever seen. I tried many of their variety type of massages, as the stonetherapy, the chromotherapy and the ayurvedic techniques stemming from the East... More

A nice hotel and nice stay for 3 nights on easter eve. But some faults of this hotel better you know before you book , 1)If you are a lover of hydromassage like me, its not a place for you. Nobody specified in their review that, in the two swimming pools outside where it's active, is automatic. There is no... More

We wandered into Abano which is 10 kilometers inland from Padua in August 1987 and decided that compared to a lot of the tourist holiday places in Italy, and we have been to many ,it was just right fo us.Spotlessly clean very few children and loads of people of our type ,not so young and not looking for cheapness. When we arrived it was as if we entered a time-warp. The hotel has a great deal of positive physical attributes. The lobby is beautifully appointed, the room and bathroom were large. Their grounds and pools are lovely. The hotel was also very clean overall. The beds (two twins, not a queen) were the hardest we have ever stayed on.... More
