For a resort-like property near Ballarat, this is something to be noted. It is comfortable and enough things to do to keep people of all ages occupied. Nothing to complain about. The compound surrounding the resort is probably the best overall thing to enjoy. More

We love the beautiful old buildings that are so well maintained as well as the lovely gardens and friendly service. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite which has ample room for the whole family. The indoor heated pool is also great. This is one of our favourite places to stay and we highly recommend it. More

Stayed here a few times on business and found it to be an ideal place to relax and take your mind off work. The buildings are old world charming without the old world mustiness. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, the living/kitchen facilities were fantastic with everything you could possibly want. We stayed here for a week in February 2011. The reception was friendly and smooth, the room was recently renovated and very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel grounds were lovely and the rooms were nicely presented. There was no restaurant on site which was annoying as there was nothing in walking distance, so you had to drive everywhere. I probably would not stay here again purely based on location and lack of facilities. More
