We hesitated before staying at this cheap, but obviously flawed hotel. The other reviews here accurately reflect that the Naseem is certainly not the nicest hotel in Muscat, but it is clean(ish), cheap, and in a great location. I had a lot of trouble deciding on where to stay in Muscat. The luxury hotels were not possible for my price... More

Rooms were very clean and I had a gorgeous view of the harbour from my room. Breakfast was OK, but for the price you pay there is no reason to complain. It is so centrally located, I was sorry to have left after only two days in Muscat. This is where I will stay if I ever come back. Make... More

I quite like this place, the location is so accessible it is in the heart of Mutrah and just within minutes walk to the Mutrah Souq and just behind the Bait Al-Baranda and the Corniche. Rate was pretty reasonable as well, the manager gave me a good impression. I arrived in Oman and only booked this hotel on the 1st... More

Good location, close to the souk and the harbour with a view on the sultane's boat. Breakfast is very basic: some orangejuice from a tin, eggs as like you like them (but for a reason I do not know, these egg's do not have a lot of taste), coffee/tea. I wonder if a local breakfast would be much better. The... More

The advantage of this place is that it isn't available to book on any website so it may be available when other hotels are fully booked. Whilst the beds are firm and comfortable, and shower strong (no shower curtain for some bizarre reason), the rooms aren't the cleanest ever, and the aircon really is very noisy. There was a fridge... It's in a great location to explore the rest of Muttrah. The rooms and facilities are very basic, but clean and well-maintained. There is nearby parking, but you have to be very lucky to find a space anywhere near the hotel. Overall it's fine as a place to rest your head, but I would say a big opportunity exists for... More

Good price and OK rooms however, when you put the aircon on you need earplugs! Simple hotel, if you are looking for luxuries better find another option. You cannot paid with credit card, only cash. More

I spent a month travelling around Oman This hotel is reasonably priced, and convenient - and made an excellent Muscat "base camp" for preparing and recharging between trips to the interior or along the coast. a big feature over/above neighbouring hotels is they have bath tubs! No bar - but you can drink at the rooftop bar of the Marina... More

It is located right on the Corniche near the Fish Market (a must see). The rooms are clean and comfortable, simple, a cut above the bare bones offerings of other regional budget hotels. The staff are ready and willing to assist you with information and and resolving traveler issues. More

Naseem Hotel is the absolute best place for visitors to Muscat. It is ideally located right on the Muttrah Corniche a scenic walk away from the Muscat palace district. The rooms are basic, but fairly clean - the best rooms are those facing the corniche! For the price and location, the Naseem Hotel is ideal. More
