We were here for three days and nights R&R after a great tour of Rajasthan. We very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was great, with plenty of space and a large comfortable bed, and had a balcony overlooking the huge swimming pool. The main hotel, pool and one restaurant back onto paddy fields, and it is a pleasant shaded walk of about five minutes to the hotel's other part which fronts onto the amazing beach. Here there is a another restaurant and plenty of shaded loungers - there are no real facilities on the beach itself which is really somewhere to swim (or watch the sunset in the evening). There are several beach shacks for drinks and food, about another five minutes walk over the sands. Generally, breakfasts were good and evening food good too - not the cheapest but priced approriatle for this sort of destination. Staff were helpful, though not always the fastest to serve. During our stay, there were at least three wedding celebrations of various sorts in parts of the hotel grounds - this is clearly a regular wedding destination. They were interesting and entertaining to watch and didn't really get in our way at all. There is a spa where we had very good massages and a smaller second swimming pool too.

Hotel's Favourite
I can genuinely say that the service in this hotel was one of the best I have experienced. Everyone was so attentive and professional. The rooms themselves were lovely, balconies and very clean. Breakfast was a great selection. The beach was beautiful- white sands and so clean with lifeguards all the way along. it really was a wonderful and memorable experience. The house keeping arranged incredible towel art for my partner for his birthday. A tiny point to improve would be that there were only 7 sunloungers around the pool- and many more guests! Overall a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

Arrival We travelled from the UK with TUI which were direct flights. Prices are in UK pounds. We stayed at the hotel for 11 nights. We had sunshine and blue skies every day. We had transfers included and on the way there this was a taxi. We arrived several hours before the check in time. We were advised to wait either by the pool or coffee area for the room to be available. We were very tired after a night flight but also understood that as the hotel was full there would be a wait for our rooms. They did however manage to get us in a good couple of hours before check in time. Room We had requested a high floor room so was initially disappointed to have a ground floor room. However we came to prefer it. It was close to everything but looked out on to a quiet pathway and had plants so it was private. The bathroom was large with a fantastic shower. The room was cleaned every day. Plenty of water is provided in glass bottles that are refilled. We put these in the fridge and filled up our own water bottles when we went out, so did not have to buy water during our stay. The air con was good and we were comfortable in the room. Food I am vegetarian Breakfast was excellent. Cereal, juices, smoothies and yoghurts. Hot food including baked beans and hash browns but also dhals. A fresh cooking station doing omelet, Dosa and pancakes. Some days it was busier than others but we never had to wait long to get our food. There are tables next to the pool or overlooking the paddy field. Evening Meal During our stay we ate three times in the restaurant by the pool and once at the restaurant next to the beach. We had some curry one night and on the other times I tried the pizza, vegetarian burger and macaroni cheese. I love Indian food and its great for vegetarians but I did fancy a change and all the meals at the hotel I had were excellent. The prices are probably double what you would pay outside of the hotel but if you are coming from the UK it is still good value. I did have some cocktails which were lovely but it was only towards the end I realized that the added tax is not listed on the menu next to the item, only at the bottom. So I had thought the cocktails were around equivalent £5.00 when in fact they were closer to £7.00. This would explain the lack of people having drinks round the Pool or spending time at the lovely bar area. One night we went to Juju restaurant. The hotel arranges taxi there and back. Lovely experience a real treat high end restaurant experience at UK chain restaurant prices Hotel Direct Area The Pool was lovely it was so big you could have a decent swim and it was never crowded. I could always get a nice comfy pool lounger. Lovely thick pool towels are available to use just help yourself. It is a small hotel with lots of plants and looks very pretty lit up at night. You can walk through the archway to the beach in less than a couple minutes. At the back you have the paddy fields and lots of opportunity to watch different birds. Going Out We walked to Colva all the time for evening meals or a few beers. Its a fifteen minute walk along the beach or a straight road. At night we would get a Tuk Tuk back at a cost of £2.00. There are taxis outside the hotel. We didnt use them as we had made contact with a driver prior to going on holiday and their prices for short journey are expensive. This is due to the fact that they then lose their place in the queue. However for longer journeys taxis are good value compared to the UK and they were always friendly to us and had a chat when we walked past. If you go out onto the beach and turn right there are several beach bars. We went to the first one Magzika. We spent a couple of wonderful evenings here having food and cocktails, watching the sun set and staying until late. Roughly at a cost of £35.00 a night for food and several cocktails will be less if your a beer drinker. We spent one night away at the Wildernest Nature Resort and attended a cooking class we arranged this ourselves. We did the TUI crocodile and spice farm tour. Weddings This hotel is a relatively small family run hotel and this is a personal view. Compared to larger places we have stayed even when weddings are taking place it is still pretty quiet. The night we ate at the restaurant next to the beach there was an evening event taking place with lights, dancers and fireworks which we got to see. There are also floral displays and lights are added to the archway. So in general for us it did not negatively impact on our stay it in fact added to it. The managers of the hotel approached us several times during our stay to ask us how our stay was going. Lovely dogs Stray dogs in Goa and feeding is a controversial issue. I love dogs and we were not approached by any dogs whilst we were in Goa unless we fed them. Most of the dogs we saw were attached to a beach bar, business or person who would feed them scraps. However there are a few close to the hotel who's beach bar shut down this season and they have been struggling a bit. So if you are a dog lover and staying at the hotel they may appreciate a few snacks. If you dont like dogs there are no dogs on or near the hotel grounds. The hotel does not support feeding of dogs as they do not want guests who don't like dogs to be approached which is understandable. Finally Would definitely recommend this hotel for a lovely relaxing stay with lovely weather and great service from the staff team. Lots of opportunity's to go out and explore if you want to do more than relax.

Rather ugly hotel buildings softened with nice grounds, pools and landscaping. The hotels main attribute being the paddy fields to the rear of the hotel and the very nice beach to the front. The room we had overlooking the paddy fields was lovely, modern, spacious and well equipped. The room cleaning was first class. The next best part of the hotel for us was the restaurant bar and sun bed area overlooking the beach. The food and service he had there was excellent. Overall the staff were friendly and professional and our requests always supported. We liked their desire to be more environmentally friendly with filtered water and toiletries. Areas for improvement The WiFi was often poor and unreliable during the stay. The coffee at breakfast is awful and you are then asked to pay for good coffee. No coffee is available at the beach bar and restaurant and no one willing to bring me one from the hotel. The large wedding taking place we arrived dominated everything, as a result the breakfast restaurant was chaos and unpleasant and holidaying guests suffer in playing second fiddle to everything while it’s taking place . Guests are hugely impacted by weddings and management don’t seem to acknowledge and attempt address this.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for choosing Beleza by the Beach for your recent stay and for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the lovely views of the paddy fields and our beautiful beachfront. It’s great to know that your room met your expectations in terms of modernity, space, and cleanliness, and that you found our room cleaning services to be first-class. We are equally pleased that the food and service at our restaurant bar and sunbed area overlooking the beach exceeded your expectations, and that our staff's friendliness and professionalism made a positive impact on your stay. Our commitment to environmental sustainability, as noted by our initiatives with filtered water and toiletries, is something we are very proud of, and we're glad you appreciated these efforts. We have taken careful note of the areas you mentioned for improvement. The feedback on the WiFi reliability, the quality of coffee at breakfast, and the lack of coffee service at the beach bar and restaurant is invaluable. We will certainly look into these matters to improve our guest experience. Regarding your observations about the impact of weddings on our non-event guests, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We understand that events, especially of large scale, can indeed affect the tranquility and service quality for other guests. We will take your comments into account as part of our ongoing efforts to balance hosting events while ensuring all guests enjoy their stay without disruption. We genuinely appreciate your constructive criticism as it provides us with the opportunity to improve our services and facilities. We hope that despite these issues, you will consider staying with us again. We would love the opportunity to provide you with a more seamless and enjoyable experience on your next visit. Should you decide to give us another chance, please feel free to contact us directly, and we will ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Warm regards, Richard Gomes, Operations Manager

Arrived late first day so decided to eat and drink at the hotel. Bad mistake. Food is tasteless and overpriced as are the drinks. £40 or £50 for cheap supermarket wine. Have gone to breakfast several times to find no tables are available as there're lots of used tables not cleaned or reset. Don't really expect to have to look about for clean glasses , cutlery etc so I can set the table myself. Food at breakfast regularly runs out and is either not replaced or takes ages to be replaced there is nothing proactive about the service from any level of management. We go to a beach bar to eat and drink, specifically the Silver Spoon where the food is of the quality you'd expect from the hotel. Plus the drinks come in good measures and are well priced. The hotel itself may have lovely grounds and the rooms are fine but overall this is not a 4/5 star experience but closer to 3 star given what you get for your money.

Dear Ian, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay, including your dining experiences and the service at breakfast. It's clear we missed the mark in providing you with the level of quality and service you rightly expected. Regarding your dining experience on the first day, we are truly sorry to hear that the food and drinks did not meet your expectations in terms of taste and value. We strive to offer our guests a diverse menu with options that are both delicious and competitively priced. Your comments have been shared with our culinary team for immediate review and action, as it is our goal to ensure every guest enjoys their meals with us. The issues you described at breakfast are concerning and not reflective of our standards. We understand the importance of starting the day with a positive dining experience, and it's disappointing to hear we fell short. Rest assured, we will address the problems of table availability, cleanliness, and the timely replenishment of food items directly with our Food and Beverage team to ensure improvements are made. We're glad to hear that you found our grounds lovely and the rooms satisfactory, but we recognize that the overall experience did not live up to your expectations for a 4/5 star hotel. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and accommodations, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas where we can improve. Please know that your comments have been taken to heart, and we will work diligently to make the necessary adjustments. We hope you will give us another opportunity to restore your faith in our hotel and to provide you with the outstanding experience you should expect from us. Warm regards, Richard Gomes, Operations Manager

This is our 10th visit to Beleza mostly. We have been visiting this resort since 2014. So we have seen its initial phases when it didn't have these many facilities and rooms. Overall, excellent staff. Special mention to Madonna - she has been excellent and very courteous to me and family. It has a private exit to the beach and the white-ish sandy beach is very clean and very less crowded. You get towels and sand toys for kids to be used while you are at the beach. A guard is appointed till sunset to look after people at the beach - not sure if this is done by the resort. Food is excellent and restaurant staff is amazing at what they are doing. Restaurant is kid friendly. They have two restaurants. "Tentacao" is only for hotel guests. "Nazare" is near the beach and is open to public as well. Rooms are clean and modern - all with balconies and has all basic necessities or even more. Facilities provided at the room - mini refrigerator, safe locker, spacious cupboard, bathrobes, terry slippers, DIY tea/coffee making setup with a Hot Water Electric Kettle, A sofa, a table, Reading lamps, Shower gel, Hair Shampoo, Hair Conditioner, Body Lotion, Whiskey glasses, drinking water glass, luggage rack, a small LED TV etc etc. Only downer are the wedding ceremonies that they host - this comes as a complete surprise to the guests. The problem this brings are multiple. Problem# 1) Wedding crowd will be a mix of those who are used to such facilities/resorts and those who are completely new to such things (no disrespect to them). The later set get too exited and become extremely noisy. My family had a tough time during one of the nights since the newly arrived wedding guests at night were in the same block as ours and they constantly kept shouting across the rooms. We had to switch on the fans as well to fend off the disturbance to acceptable levels. Luckily and thankfully Madonna and rest of the hotel staff gave us another room to shift to on the next day morning. Problem#2) The wedding ceremonies - Haldi, Mehendi - are all hosted at the restaurant (Tentacao) lawns. The much celebrated paddy view isn't accessible to you anymore. And you keep wondering what relation is it to you while you are out there to enjoy a peaceful nice morning breakfast (yes their breakfast spread is very good). The wedding guests usually behave as if the entire place belong to them - they shout around and doesn't care about rest of the guests. Once the function was over, I found long thick wall nails, stapler pins etc thrown over in the lawns - Luckily I found them and informed the restaurant staff before it injures some kid or adult. This is not acceptable. Problem#3) The wedding happens over multiple days. If your stay overlaps with those days, you will find yourself irritated with constant reminder that you are secondary to the resort and that their primary source of revenue is wedding! The access to the beach will be hindered by the wedding ceremony - it happens right beside the beach exit. But the wedding guests will be all over the beach exit. Also, there will be extreme loud music played which will hamper your beach time! Posters, welcome notes will be there all over near the reception area. Wedding event managers will be seated constantly at the reception, who will be busy planning for and discussing about the marriage. Problem#4)Mr. Prakar who is the night manager went to the extent of blaming me and family for going ahead with booking the stay since chances of wedding ceremony overlapping the stay is already written in their website (though I never found any such T&C). He was squarely putting blame on me for the "sheer ignorance" I had! He is an exception among an otherwise knowledgeful staff they have. But he needs a special mention! In summary - Wedding is their primary source of revenue and they don't inform you upfront about a planned wedding overlapping with your stay. Will I stay there again? Probably yes - Reason: It is an excellent beach property sandwiched between a calm and peaceful beach and paddy fields. Most of the staff barring few are amazing - they recognize us the moment we step in and had been very caring for my family. What would I do going forward? - I might probably check with them while booking of a possible wedding overlap.

We loved everything about the hotel. The food was just delicious, in the a la carte restaurant they have plenty of options to meet every taste. Everything we tried was excellent, and the waiters were very friendly and helpful, they also suggested us few dishes we could try and we were not disappointment. We would like to mention specially Mathew and Sajjad who waited us often and were always kind and really patient with us. 10/10 guys. We had a room with view to the paddy fields and the views in the early morning, during sunrise, are breathtaking. Beautiful and amazing, I recommend it 100%.

We are, however, concerned to learn that some aspects of our hotel did not fully meet your expectations. We are committed to providing our guests with the highest quality of service and facilities, and we would appreciate any further insights you could provide on how we can improve. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continue to enhance our guest experience. Please rest assured that we take all comments seriously and will look into how we can make necessary improvements. Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Hopefully, with improvements made, we can exceed your expectations and ensure a thoroughly satisfying experience. Warm regards, Richard Gomes, Operations Manager

We had our wedding at Beleza in November 2023 and I cannot recommend this place enough!! We started planning very early and one of the key reasons we picked this is because of Amanda. During our initial calls, her attention to detail, patience and foresight made us feel like we were in the right hands. When we finally visited in person, turns out, these qualities reflected in each and every staff member we encountered. Everyone was so helpful and diligent, it just helped ascertain we made the right decision. Fast forward to the wedding, the folks of Beleza were rock stars! They do so many weddings but it still felt like everything they said and did over that weekend was personalised for us. The front office and guests services made checkin and guest management look like a breeze. Housekeeping was attentive to every beck and call. And the FOOD!!! People to this day keep raving about the amazing spread across all meals. Along with our amazing planners, Beleza made all of our wedding dreams come through. For that, we’ll always be very grateful!
