We were delighted to find this hotlel available to us late in the year and in a quiet street not far fro the promenade where we were to attend a conference the following day. We were in search of a groundfloor room (as my mother is disables) and we were really pleased to find just what we needed here. A... More

We stayed over for a one night stay on a Saturday night. The hotel was lovely & clean and the room, clean and a great size. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming and allowed us a late checkout as the hotel was quiet. We opted for a breakfast which was lovely, I recommend the full English.... More

A nice quiet B&B in a quiet street a 100 yards from the promenade. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy, and the breakfasts superb. Pete and Judith the owners are lovely people and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would recomend the Ashmount for a peaceful stay to anyone who wants to get around this beautiful... More

We stayed for just one night and would not delay in coming back. The hotels location is excellent being a few minutes walk from the beach/promenade and equidistant from Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. The room was excellent with very comfortable pillows and we had no trouble sleeping. The furnishing looked new and the bathroom spacious with a good shower and... More

We spent 2 nights at the ashmount with our three children. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, including having a variety of garden toys fir our kids to play with while we lounged in the sun. A stones throw from the beach, a short walk to kids playground and outdoor paddling pool and rhos... More

This is now the hotel we always stay in when visiting family in Wales. We have tried a few others. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I like the way the owners remember us when we go back. It is spotlessly clean - I can't cope otherwise. The sea is just up the road - great for early morning refreshing walks.... More

Tasty full breakfast, cosy, yet spacious room with wi-fi. Located quietly, yet not far from anything in the Colwyn Bay-area. More

We found the Ashmount through Trip Advisor and was pleased with the experience. We had been on our trip for a couple of weeks by then and arriving at the Ashmount was like a bit of home. We were warmly greeted, told of the hot spots around town, advised of places to tour and given great breakfast's. The room we... More

Great value - comfortable, friendly family-run, substantial breakfasts, close to the seafront and near some good value cafes and pubs. Nothing is too much trouble to the friendly owners who have created a small hotel which is very hospitable and ideal for travellers of all ages - 8 to 88. Found it by chance but would recommend it highly. More
