“awesome & clean!”

we just pulled into hazelton and are staying here for the first time. we're so pleasantly surprised!!!! this place is clean, comfortable, newly updated, good furniture, nice bathroom, even has a fridge! i'm picky and i'd definitely stay here again!! the skeena bakery with awesome food and coffee is across the street, don't miss it!!!! More

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at the Bulkley Valley Motel on the 15th September 2011, whilst on a driving holiday from Vancouver to Whitehorse on the Stewart Cassiar Highway. Do NOT be deceived by the somewhat tacky exterior, or the location; inside, the rooms are excellent, definitely up to par. Having stayed in some chain hotels recently, this motel stands out as cared for and modernized. Great value. More

It is SO true - the exterior is still in the category of "tacky" which we hope to address in coming years - but where we have invested is in the rooms. A lovely place. From the outside, we thought it looked the nicest of all the places. My wife noted it was the highest priced of the motels. Don't let the building or small front office fool you. The rooms are great! One of the best values in northern bc. The room interiors are very nice. We got a fridge, desk, vanity mirror and a couch. Very cozy. If timing was better we would have stayed there again on our way back. More

I drove all the way form Saskatoon just for the weekend, not nearly enough time to truely enjoy all that the New Hazelton and area has to offer. I plan to take two weeks vacation in the area and there is nowhere else I would concider staying. thanks for the great experience. More
